This little rustic restaurant was highly recommended by my cousin, so we decided to check it out. We arrived at around 9pm on a Tuesday night without any reservation and the restaurant was packed. Luckily, we got seated after only a 20 mins wait at the bar.

Fish la Boissonnerie is a small cute cozy wine bar and bistro located on the left bank of the river in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

This was actually a fish shop before it became a bistro. To sustain the history, the facade stayed with the same tiled mosaics, which makes the interior very inviting.

Located in an old building that has low ceilings with rustic wood beams, which makes the interior feel cozy and inviting with a warm atmosphere, Fish la Boissonnerie is a reasonably small Wine Bar and Bistro that is situated on the Left Bank of the River Seine in the 6th arrondissement of Paris

Popular both with the locals and tourists alike, the menu itself changes daily with what produce is available, and the daily specials written on the blackboard.

Serving both hold and cold dishes in generous portions, mostly concentrated on fish from a mixed style menu including Mediterranean, Spanish, French, Provencal and Italian influences.

Sliced fresh cucumber with sesame

This flat bread served was sensational! One of the best bread we've had in years. Warm, crispy on the outside and super soft in the inside. Addictive.

Apparently, the bread is produced in the boulangerie (Mimi la Sardine) right across the street. During the course of our dinner service, we see the waitress going back and forth with the fresh flat bread.
