Driving around sunset area, we stumbled upon this little hold in the wall restaurant.
Pork dumplings
Xiao long bao (Shanghai dumpling)
The key to a good xiao long bao is the soup. This one did not disappoint us but did not wow us either. THe soup was sweet and flavorful but a tad greasy.
Potstickers
Don't expect to come here for friendly service and beautiful decor. This little hole in the wall old restaurant is all about its dumplings. It fits about 25 ppl max and yet it is packed like sardines. I am afraid of its hygiene, but when you take that out of the equation, the food is decent but not mind blowing and definitely not worth the long wait in the cold winter nights in SF.
