Nestled on a 33 acres of Rutherford overlooking some of Napa's most renowned vineyard, Auberge du Soleil sowcases the area's stunning vistas served with the finest local ingredients for an outstanding meal.

The winding road up to the hotel/restaurant.  The hotel is rated one of the world's best hotel/spa and of course in the region.

Then entrance to the restaurant with a display of the Michelin star.

The stunning view of the valley.

Like all restaurants of the same caliber, the wine list was presented in an iPad.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. A party of four plus an infant. Incredibly, they allowed us to bring the baby along with the stroller.  When we were seated, our server did not ask us about our dietary restrictions and did not take the time to explain to us about the menu.  With that said, our little angel was not cooperating after the first course of the meal and was crying nonstop for awhile and yet thankfully, we did not get kicked out. Thus, I bumped up a star for their service.  The ambiance was romantic and food was creative, fresh and worth every penny (especially for the view).

Food: ★★★★☆
