Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Sam's Chowder House offers a casual seafood dining experience.  You have an option to dine indoor or outdoor with a stunning oceanfront view.  

The decor is not architecturally interesting with only metal beams crossing the ceiling and wood topped tables, but it serves its purpose. 

We came here for Brunch with the family on a fine Sunday morning.  Seated in the back, we walked by the open kitchen with chefs in action.  

Baked Oysters Rockefeller

The oysters are topped with fresh chopped herbs, breadcrumbs, parsley and cheese presented on a bed of rock salt.  The taste is rich and buttery.

This is THE much talked about signature dish of Sam's Chower House.  This award winning roll is a simple, yet delectable version of an East coast favorite. This sandwich is definitely not just a traditional sandwich.  Containing tons of lobster in a toasty soft buttery bread, each bite is heavenly and worth every penny.

New England Clam Chowder

Little neck clams, Yukon gold potatoes, smoked bacon, and cream

This New England Clam Chowder in a huge bowl is made in the traditional New England style, with clam broth, cream, calms, potatoes, smoked bacon, onion and thyme.   

The chowder was light and savory; the perfect blend of ingredients without being thicken with flour.  Definitely worth naming a whole restaurant after.

The pie was light and refreshing with tons of cream.  An excellent way to end our fabulous meal.
