Boccalone Salumeria is the first retail location of the artisanal salumi venture from Chris Cosentino and Mark Pastore of Incanto Restaurant.
They actually have an extensive menu but we decided to try their famous "Meat Snow Cone" with Mortadella, Prosciutto Cotto, Salami & Capocollo.
Genius idea, with a variety of meat to try as we stroll around the Ferry Building.
The store is a meat lover’s delight of simplicity in design. There is a curing chamber in the picture below with stuffed various pig parts. Boccalone is all about sustainability and humane treatment of all things edible.
