The Girl & the Fig

Sonoma, CA

This cozy cute Sonoma establishment brings us back to Provence and its country-style living/cooking.

As you walk in, a little shop is tucked in the corner selling items like their homemade spread and cookbooks.

Allowing us to bake in the warm summer sun, we were seated in the back patio.

lavender mojito
cruzan light rum, lavender & rose water simple syrup, lime juice, muddled mint

Fresh baguette - straight out of the oven

goat cheese sampler
three selections of local & imported artisan goat cheese, fig cake, compote, spiced nuts & baguette

excellent presentation with a selection of cow's milk, goat's milk and sheep's milk cheese.  though i'm nowhere near to be a cheese connoisseur, but the cheese were fresh, smooth in texture and leaving some pungent but savory taste on your palette.
