Gary Danko

San Francisco, CA

A place that we've been wanting to try with J & V...finally...

The layout of the menu option was similar to La Folie whereby you have the option of choosing their seasonal tasting menu or creating a three-, four-, or five-course tasting menu. Price was very reasonable.

Amuse Bouche:
Carrot soup with Saffron cream

Risotto with Rock Shrimp, Dungeness Crab, Shimeji Mushrooms and Asparagus

The risotto was the best tasting dish of the night!  Rich in flavor with very generous portion.  especially given that it's an appetizer!
