Since we were visiting, our friend K suggested trying this place out. A cute Southern inspired restaurant by Restaurateur Brad Johnson and Chef Govind Armstrong.
The place was dark, intimate, yet VERY lively. It was so packed that it was hard for my family and I to go through the crowd with our strollers to the patio area where we were seated. Thankfully, maître d' led us through the back alley, passing by the kitchen.
Deviled Eggs, Smoked Benton's Ham and Trout Roe
WJ Fried Chicken, Long Cooked Greens
Grilled Hanger Steak, Sunchoke Puree, Local Baby Broccoli and WJ House Steak Sauce
As the night progressed, it turns into a bar. A very happening scene indeed.
