Central, Hong Kong
Centrally located near the SOHO area, the Press Room's name pays homage to the historical site. It is occupying the former old address of the Hua Qiao Daily (華僑日報) newspaper from the 1920s. The Press Room is a modern hip brasserie which offers a relaxed ambiance.
A large dining room with vaulted ceiling. Tables ware packed next to one another and yet it was comfortable.

Onion Soup Gratinée
It's arguably the best onion soup in town. Served with a thick chewy layer of golden browned cheese, the soup itself was sweet and flavorful. Perfect for a cold winter morning.

The Press Room is an excellent weekend brunch place with an energetic crowd. It definitely appears to cater to the expat crowd more than the locals. Regardless, it's unpretentious with high ceilings and chalkboard menu. Good food, good company.
