Singapore
L's neighbors took us out to Tung Lok Seafood while we were visiting. Tung Lok Seafood is known for their quality in preparing Singaporean seafood. A popular menu was their "à la carte buffet", which was what we opted for.
The restaurant's interior was quite soothing with pastel hues in blue and lavender.
Salmon Sashimi
Freshly sliced in ideal thickness. Surprisingly good at a Chinese restaurant.
Smoked Duck Breast
A combination of some sinful fats with the breast meat and the added smokey flavor made this dish super delicious

Steamed Prawns

Kang Kong with shrimp paste
Although this dish produces an alluring smell, but we think it may be a bit on the greasy side.

Chili crab
This is a modern twist of a typical chili crab dish. The sauce is made with a unique combination of tomato and orange juice. Truly an all time favorite among the diners.

Fish maw soup

Stir fried steam clams
~
Fried Baby Squid
Topped with sweet sauce and sesame, the squids were crispy and yet chewy. It was definitely a treat.

Deep Fried Fish Skin

Deep Fried Prawns with crispy oats
'
This prawn covered with buttery crispy oats is to die for. The best thing is that there are tons of these buttery goodness left for you to gobble on.

Mango sago with pomelo (杨枝甘露)

Mango ice cream puff

Glutinous rice ball with grated peanut and sesame paste

Overall, this restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. There were several standouts like the crab, crispy prawns with oats and deep fried fish skin. Other than that, we expected a little bit more from this establishment as it belongs to a prestigious group.
