Paris, France
This is one of the "must-go" Macarons shop when we're in Paris. Being a tourist, we would almost always stop by the Champs-Élysées store (post - 2 yrs ago). However, this time it was under renovation and they only have a pop-up store. So we decided to visit the particular one by Saint Germain des Prés.

When compared to our other all time favorite Macarons - Pierre Hermé, we still prefer Pierre Hermé. This debate of course, can be a whole different post. Generally, Ladurée is known to be the classic Parisian Macarons whereas Pierre Hermé is the innovative one with a modern twist.
In summary, in terms of packaging, taste and creativity: we believe Pierre Hermé is the clear winner in these area. We will elaborate more in another post.

Macarons can also be enjoyed with tea, we bought a variety pack.

Ladurée also collaborated with Sanrio and came out with a Hello Kitty collection! Being a true Hello Kitty fan, I cannot leave the store without buying a Hello Kitty memento.
